Volunteers are important part of Piedmont Band.  Following is information on ways that all families can get involved with the band. Concessions It has been a long standing tradition and a point of pride in the response we get to concession volunteers.  Concessions is setup to make your help in the concession stand easy and fun.  Below is the concession schedule.  Please note the Friday you are scheduled to work the concession stand.  If you have a conflict you are welcome to contact Kathy Williams and let him know what other date you would like to work.  Concessions needs all the volunteers we can get.  This year we are targeting larger sales.  To do that we need more people working each game.  If you enjoy working concessions you are welcome to work more than your scheduled date.  Contact Kathy Williams and let him know of your interest. Kathy Williams Other Volunteer Opportunities  Activity  Number of Volunteers Needed  Pit Crew  13 per game and contest.  Pit Crew is limited to parents who can attend all or most games and contests.  Bus Drivers  3 bus drivers per away game and contest.  Valid NC Drivers license with CDL / Bus endorsement required.  Chaperones  9 needed for each away game and contest.  Proper volunteer registration with the School is required.  Uniforms  Unlimited - Help to fit and alter (sew) uniforms and help to get uniforms to contests and cleaners when necessary.  Props  Unlimited - Help in building props for the show.    Sign ups for volunteer work will be done at parents night during band camp.  Please plan to attend and to volunteer.
