Volunteer Opportunities
To volunteer to help, you must first be approved by UCPS. Please visit the "Downloads" page to get approved. Volunteers are important part of Piedmont Band. The following is information on ways that all families can get involved with the band.

Volunteer Opportunities
- Band Camp helpers each morning (4) - Make sure kids stay healthy, cool, hydrated, and wearing sun screen.
- Pit Crew - 13 per game and contest. Pit Crew is limited to parents who can attend all or most games and contests.
- Chaperones - 6 needed for each away game and contest. Proper volunteer registration with the School is required.
- Uniforms - Unlimited - Help to fit and alter (sew) uniforms and help to get uniforms to contests and cleaners when necessary.
- Props - Unlimited - Help in building props for the show.
